Farm Store Assistant

Farm Store Assistant needed to stock shelves, front merchandise, create displays, operate the POS (Square), greet customers, educate shoppers about Glynwood’s mission and Farm Store products, and assist with CSA questions. Responsibilities include restocking, labeling and inventory updates, maintaining tidy and attractive displays, processing transactions, and ensuring a high level of customer service. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work primarily in-store with some outdoor time; shifts primarily on weekends (Thursdays 2pm-5pm and Fridays 11am-4pm) at Glynwood’s Farm Store in Cold Spring, NY. Strong preference for prior experience in retail, particularly food retail; proficient with Google Suite; excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to educate customers about local farm products and meat and vegetable offerings.
