Job Summary
Provide risk-management advisory and marketing planning for farm clients, building and maintaining a personal book of business, and delivering marketing plans and insights on market trends and government programs. Responsibilities include risk-management services, client management using proprietary software to project cash flows and break-even analyses, business development through prospecting and relationship growth, and presenting the firm’s portfolio in public settings while upholding professional integrity and industry knowledge. The role requires a blend of financial acumen, client relationship management, and agricultural knowledge to help producers achieve economic stability and profitability.
Required Qualifications
- Series 3 license for commodity brokers is required
- Three to five years of experience in the farm agriculture business with a high school diploma
- Two to four years of agriculture experience with an associate's or technical degree
- One to two years of related experience with a bachelor's degree in Agriculture
