Job Summary
Oversee agricultural properties as a trusted advisor to absentee landowners, building relationships with operators, professionals, and community influencers. Review farm and ranch properties to identify performance opportunities, develop annual plans and budgets, and manage lease agreements while coordinating seed, fertilizer, and crop inspections. Analyze market data for land sales and leases, process income and expenses, and collaborate with accounting teams to deliver accurate reporting and client service. Maintain records, communicate regularly on property goals, and travel approximately 40% regionally to visit properties and attend industry events.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Real Estate Associate License or ability to obtain within the first year of employment
- Minimum of 2 years of professional agricultural experience
- Knowledge of crop production, farm operations, land management, and agricultural business practices
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills
- Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing circumstances
- Frequent regional travel (approximately 40%)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business, or a related field preferred
- Associate degree plus 4+ years of relevant experience considered
- High school diploma/GED plus 8+ years of relevant experience considered
