Job Summary
Farm Manager responsible for maximizing grow-out farm productivity and profit by planning, directing, and controlling brood/grow activities. Manage flocks, environmental conditions, sanitation and biosecurity, safety, and daily records; supervise training and morale in coordination with Area Production Supervisor; ensure feed scheduling, inventory, and adherence to company policies; perform vaccination activities and maintain livability and performance standards; available 24/7 with weekend/holiday work; requires strong poultry farming knowledge and leadership to meet customer specifications.
Required Qualifications
- Good work history with stability
- Valid driver license with good driving record
- Must be 18 years or older
- Four years of poultry experience (preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Willing to work 7 days/week including weekends/holidays
- Strong math and record-keeping ability
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Experience with vaccination procedures (preferred)
- Knowledge of sanitation and biosecurity procedures
- Strong communication and training skills
