Job Summary
The Farm Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the reliability and efficiency of farm operations through preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems. This role requires diagnosing issues across equipment such as electronic sow feeders, ventilation, plumbing, and heating systems, alongside routine maintenance of farm tools including tractors and mowers. Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED, a minimum of two years of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license, and be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills and physical capability to handle lifting and pushing weight are essential.
