Job Summary
Diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, assemble, and service farm equipment as assigned by the supervisor. Operate agriculture and farm equipment while leading a crew during harvest and planting operations. Maintain a clean work area, care for all shop tools and machines, and deliver mechanical parts, products, and tools around the farm as needed. Maintain technical and product knowledge on all equipment on the farm. Follow all safety rules and regulations, adhere to company policies and procedures, and present a professional image of R.D. Offutt Farms to customers and the community. Maintain positive working relationships with peers, management, and support resources. Requires a valid driver's license, mechanical aptitude, and farm laborer experience. Compensation ranges from $18 to $21 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package and training opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship

- Previous mechanical experience or mechanical aptitude preferred
- Previous farm operations or laborer experience preferred
- Ability to assemble and perform maintenance functions on equipment
