Job Summary
Conduct planting, maintenance, harvesting, and post-harvest operations for local crops, including seeding, transplanting, hand weeding, hoeing, and moving irrigation. Safely operate and handle farm equipment such as tillers, wheelbarrows, and hand tools like shears and knives while maintaining high quality standards. Work outdoors in all weather conditions, moving quickly to support efficiency and food quality. Perform related farm duties as assigned and assist experienced Field Leaders during seasonal peaks. Must be willing to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work 45 hours weekly from 7:30 to 5pm.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 16 years old (with valid worker's permit) or older
- Motivated with a desire for knowledge and a passion for farming and crops
- Has the ability to take direction, show initiative, and work well in a team as well as independently
- Able to perform physically demanding and repetitive tasks and able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly
- Has a U.S. driver's license and a clean driving record
- Are willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Desired Qualifications
- Previous farm experience preferred but not necessary
- A love of the outdoors
