Job Summary
Manage farm crew and oversee all aspects of vegetable, fruit, and herb production while maintaining farm infrastructure and landscape with vendor support. Certify that all product and food safety standards are met and manage on-site CSA pick-ups. Educate residents and guests by leading workshops, presentations, and tours, while ensuring the general store, barn, gardens, and surrounding areas remain well-maintained. Lead gardening-related workshops and farm-to-table events, assisting the HOA team with events as needed. Requires at least two years of organic vegetable production experience, tractor operation skills, and bilingual English/Spanish proficiency. Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years organic vegetable production and farm management experience
- Proven experience independently operating a tractor
- Enthusiasm for local and sustainable agriculture
- A problem solver, willing to learn and open to feedback
- High degree of customer service and effective communication skills
- Attention to detail and efficiency
- Knowledge of retail technology and CSA logistics platform
- Carpentry skills, general 'fix it' know how, and familiarity with basic tools
- Able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, stand for extended periods of time and move up to 50 pounds
- Self-motivated with an eagerness to learn new tasks
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Valid state driver's license for the class of vehicle you are driving
- Clean motor vehicle report
- Current automobile insurance at statutory limits
