Farm Clean Out Associate

Job Summary
Conduct poultry house cleanouts by emptying feeders, removing debris, and stripping litter while scraping cement floors and sanitizing all surfaces with designated chemicals. Assist equipment operators in raising, lowering, and removing machinery as needed, adhering strictly to Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions. Perform ground labor including opening and closing house end doors, lifting and moving up to 50 pounds, and working unsupervised in dusty, chemical-exposed environments. Work routine shifts of up to six days a week, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with extended standing periods. Interact with live poultry and maintain bio-security and safety practices.
Required Qualifications
- Work with chemicals, such as detergents, disinfectants
- Lift and move 50 pounds
- Routinely work up to 6 days a week, including weekends and holidays
- Routine handling and interacting with live poultry
- Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours
- Standing for extended periods of time (6 hours)
- Grip, grasp or twist using hands and wrists
- Lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50lbs
- Bend and stoop repetitively throughout out shift
- Prolonged exposure to dry and dusty environments
- Works cooperatively with a team
- Strong sense of personal responsibility
