Job Summary
Join Fargo Trailer Center as a Trailer Technician, responsible for repairing trailers, including air brakes and electrical systems, in accordance with factory and dealership specifications. Diagnose, communicate with parts departments, and perform detailed inspections. Candidates must have a high school diploma or G.E.D., valid driver's license, and the ability to pass background checks. Preferred qualifications include mechanical trade school completion and trailer technician experience. There is a competitive pay structure, including a $2,000 sign-on bonus and various benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle report
- Must have own tools and toolbox
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of mechanical trade school preferred
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Familiar with air brakes, truck and trailer inspections
- Familiar with bodywork on trailers, air suspension components, hydraulic systems
