Job Summary
FaPMI Coordinator role within Eastern Health focusing on mental health clinical service delivery with responsibility for workforce development and quality improvement. Requires at least five years’ experience in mental health, current AHPRA registration (or equivalent) as a nurse, social worker, occupational therapist, or clinical psychologist, and the ability to lead and engage in strategic planning for families, children and carers. The role involves working with adults who are parents who have experienced mental illness, and ensuring recovery-oriented care across adult, child and youth mental health services, including understanding developmental needs of children 0-18 years. Vaccination in line with the Australian Immunisation handbook and a National Police Check are mandatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Current registration with AHPRA or equivalent body as a registered nurse, social worker, occupational therapist or clinical psychologist
- At least five years’ experience in mental health settings
- Experience with adults who are parents who have experienced mental illness, and their families
- Strong leadership and strategic planning abilities for issues relating to families, children and carers
- Experience and knowledge of the adult, child and adolescent mental health field and related health and welfare services, including understanding of developmental needs of children 0-18 years
- Vaccination recommendations adherence and National Police Check requirement
