Job Summary
Audit client bills for pricing, services, and classification accuracy while resolving balance dues and verifying OLA discounts. Interpret freight contracts and tariff guidelines to ensure correct accessorial and fuel charges apply, then convert contractual language into sequel code for rating profiles. Monitor live invoices to troubleshoot rating issues, create new profiles for clients, and generate reports on contract entry status. Communicate audit results and contract updates to clients, carriers, and management, maintaining client information sheets and audit folders. Collaborate with Rates Analysts, Customer Service, and EDI departments to streamline processes and implement new client rates.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- College degree
- Previous experience in auditing
- Must be able to work in Microsoft Outlook, Work, and Excel
- Must be detail oriented
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, or customers
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team
- Attention to detail and high-level accuracy
- Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to deliver assignments on time
- Must have great reading and comprehension skills
- Ability to work with a diverse audience; internal and external
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or verbal form
- Ability to train other employees and explain policies and procedures in a clear and concise manner
- Advanced computer skills including MS Office, SQL and other programming language
- Must be able to perform all basic math functions to audit invoice charges
- Advanced reading, language interpretation and research skills required for contract versus invoicing analysis
Desired Qualifications
