Job Summary
Audits client bills for accuracy of pricing, services, and classification; verifies carrier invoice charges against contracts and directives; interprets contract language to ensure correct billing rates; coordinates training and account assignments; communicates audit results to clients, carriers, and internal teams; collaborates with Rates Analysts and Customer Service/EDI departments to resolve pricing or data issues; creates monthly billing spreadsheets and supports Jira ticketing for contract rate updates; reads and interprets freight contracts, develops and updates rating profiles, and assists in implementing new clients' rate structures.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Advanced computer skills including MS Office, SQL and other programming language
- Must have great verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work with minimum supervision
- Attention to detail and high level accuracy
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret extensive technical instructions
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team
- Ability to deliver assignments on time
- Ability to train other employees and explain policies and procedures clearly
- Experience in auditing or familiarity with billing/invoice processes
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
