Job Summary
Program, modify, and optimize FANUC robotic systems while analyzing test data to resolve design and programming issues. Support production startup, commissioning, and ongoing operations by assembling, calibrating, and troubleshooting electrical and electronic systems. Install control systems, operate testing equipment, and perform quality control inspections to ensure compliance with safety and engineering standards. Provide technical support to engineering, maintenance, and production teams while assisting with project planning and documentation. This three-month contract in Kansas City, KS, requires GM GRS and Greenlock/MPS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Current GM GRS Certification
- Current GM Greenlock/MPS Certification
- Strong experience programming FANUC Robots
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience troubleshooting robotic automation systems in automotive manufacturing
- Strong understanding of electrical principles and industrial controls
- Experience with electrical and electronic system assembly
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for Day & Night Shifts
- Must be able to travel
