Job Summary
Join a growing anesthesia practice in Waterbury, CT offering day, night, weekend, and call opportunities. Be part of a collegial group of nine Anesthesiologists and 11 CRNAs supporting a 300+ bed community teaching hospital with inpatient, outpatient pain, obstetrics, endoscopy, and GI services. Shared call schedule includes 1:6 for general anesthesia and 1:3 or better for cardiac cases. Position is salaried with comprehensive benefits, retirement, six weeks of vacation including CME, and affiliation with Yale and Quinnipiac University through Waterbury Hospital as part of the Prospect Medical Holdings network. Located in western CT with easy access to Boston and NYC and rich cultural options in New Haven and Hartford.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certification in Anesthesiology
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- licensure to practice medicine in CT or eligible for CT license
- experience in general and cardiac anesthesia preferred
- ability to provide anesthesia for obstetrics and GI procedures will be a plus
