Job Summary
Electrophysiologist role in a busy Connecticut cardiology practice within a full-service center. Responsibilities include direct patient care in office and hospital settings, inpatient/outpatient consultations, education for interns/residents/students, and participation in rotational call coverage. Procedures include general and interventional cardiology care such as cardiac catheterization, PCI, coronary stent placement, and TAVR. Leadership opportunity to shape the clinical service line and contribute to a collaborative, patient-focused environment. Located in Waterbury with affiliation to UConn Health and Waterbury Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Active ABIM certification in Internal Medicine
- Board certified or board eligible in Invasive Cardiology at the time of hire
- Board certification in ECHO and Nuclear is required (or in process)
- Training in TAVR or Structural Heart Disease Fellowship is preferred
