Job Summary
Fantastic Electrophysiologist Opportunity in Connecticut focuses on joining a busy cardiology practice in Waterbury with opportunities for leadership in shaping the clinical service line. Responsibilities include direct patient care in office and hospital settings, inpatient and outpatient consultations, education/mentorship of interns, residents, and students, and participation in rotational call. Procedures include general and interventional cardiology care, cardiac catheterization, PCI, coronary stent placement, and TAVR. Candidates should hold active ABIM certification in Internal Medicine and be board certified or board eligible in Invasive Cardiology; board certification in ECHO and Nuclear is required or in process, with TAVR/Structural Heart Training preferred. Required Qualifications
- Active ABIM certification in Internal Medicine and board certified or board eligible in Invasive Cardiology
- Board certification in ECHO and Nuclear (or in process)
- Training in TAVR or Structural Heart Disease Fellowship preferred
- Ability to provide direct patient care in office and hospital settings; inpatient and outpatient consultations
- Experience with cardiac catheterization, PCI, coronary stent placement, and TAVR procedures
