Job Summary
Deliver holistic family support as a Family Wellbeing Worker within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in Cairns; provide direct and systemic support through integrated case management, develop culturally aligned family plans, build strong relationships with families and service providers, advocate for family-led decision making, and participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve health and wellbeing outcomes. The role emphasizes working with families and children, collaboration with the Coordinator and Family Wellbeing Team, maintaining accurate client information and case notes, and contributing to program development and community engagement.
Required Qualifications
- A degree qualification and/or tertiary qualifications in Community Services or similar field
- Hold a current Blue Card (for suitability to work with children and young people)
- Possess a current driver’s licence
