Job Summary
Conduct high-quality home visiting services to vulnerable and high-risk families in accordance with Healthy Families America model requirements. Partner with families to strengthen parent-child relationships, achieve positive child health outcomes, and improve family functioning while ensuring model fidelity per Rhode Island Department of Health contractual guidelines. Facilitate groups, lead community outreach events, and develop relationships with community partners. Provide services when families are available, which may include some weeknight or weekend hours, while traveling to client residences, community locations, and office sites. Maintain bilingual English/Spanish skills and current driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelors degree in Human Services, Child Development, Education or related field
- Experience working with culturally diverse communities/families
- demonstrated ability to be culturally sensitive and appropriate
- Ability to provide services when families are available, which may include some weeknight or weekend hours
- Working knowledge of state and community resources
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Current drivers license
