Job Summary
Family Visitation Supervisor oversees child safety and well-being during visits, directly supervises the child and non-custodial parents and siblings, observes and assesses family needs, models parenting skills, participates in weekly supervision, documents visits and provides timely reports, may provide testimony in court, works with Goshen Therapeutic Services team and DFCS partners, participates in trainings to stay current on child welfare issues, laws, and policy, and may work remotely for admin tasks while contract roles offer mileage reimbursement and flexible scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in child development, psychology, sociology, social work, education or a related field OR High School Diploma with 5 years of Human Service Experience
- Valid Driver’s License with good driving record and proof of insurance
- Pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- Access to computer and telephone to contact clients and document services
