Job Summary
Supervise and facilitate Family Time sessions, observing parent-child interactions to offer feedback and support. Maintain detailed records of observations and outcomes while collaborating with Social Workers and other professionals. Transport children to and from sessions across wide geographical areas, including out-of-county locations, and conduct home visits for families in child in need plans or care proceedings. Ensure safe, nurturing environments for children and their families in various settings, from Family Hubs to family homes.
Required Qualifications
- experience working with children and families in a supportive role
- strong observational and assessment skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- the ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
- a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- a full valid driving licence
- access to personal transport with the need for business insurance
- DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks or police vetting
