Job Summary
Gather and document information from caseworkers, children, parents, and schools to plan family time visits. Meet with caregivers to review family time agreements and suggest community resources. Supervise family time in office or community settings while ensuring child safety. Assist with transporting children and guardians to visits and appointments. Collaborate with caseworkers to assess supervision details and recommend services for case planning. Work Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., transitioning to a 4/10 schedule with evening and weekend availability. Requires a valid driver's license, one year of human services experience, or an associate degree.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Acceptable driving record
- One year of experience working in a human services or behavioral health setting
- Associate degree in any field
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience providing administrative support by coordinating schedules, managing correspondence, and maintaining accurate and organized records
- Experience documenting observations, client interactions, and case-related information accurately and in accordance with established procedures
- Experience applying trauma-informed practices when interacting with or providing services to individuals who have experienced trauma
- Experience communicating and collaborating with people from diverse backgrounds to provide information, coordinate services, or accomplish shared goals
- Experience working with children and families from diverse backgrounds while adapting communication or service approaches to meet individual needs
- Experienced in managing crisis situations through effective de-escalation, teamwork, and trauma-informed communication to ensure safety, reduce conflict, and support positive client outcomes
