Family Therapist

Job Summary
Provide home- and community-based family therapy to a caseload of 10–15 families across the Chicagoland area, delivering interventions using Functional Family Therapy and other evidence-based models matched to each family's needs. Engage families flexibly in homes, schools, and community settings while conducting assessments, treatment planning, crisis support, and safety planning. Collaborate with schools, courts, and child welfare systems, and maintain timely clinical documentation. Participate actively in team consultation, supervision, and ongoing model training. This role supports trauma recovery for males of color ages 5 and up through a mobile, community-based approach prioritizing relational flexibility over office-based compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or a closely related behavioral health field
- Illinois clinical licensure (LSW, LPC, LCSW, or LCPC)
- Meets Illinois Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel throughout the Chicagoland service area
- Strong engagement skills with families experiencing conflict, instability, or crisis
Desired Qualifications
- Associate-level clinicians (LSW/LPC) working toward independent licensure
- Training or experience in Functional Family Therapy (FFT) or other home based/family-centered models
- Experience with youth and families involved in schools, probation, child welfare, or behavioral health systems
- Crisis intervention and safety planning experience
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
