Job Summary
Assist Dependency Case Managers in providing services to families, including facilitating and observing parent/sibling visitations and arranging transportation for children ages birth to 18 to appointments and court hearings. Monitor parents and children during supervised visits, documenting each activity in the Florida Safe Families Network database, while supervising children in the absence of a Case Manager or caregiver. Provide modeling techniques, education, and supportive services as outlined in the case plan, and assist with obtaining client records such as birth and death certificates. Participate in client staffings, staff meetings, and court hearings as needed. Requires a valid driver's license, high school diploma, and minimum two years of experience working with children and families.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license in good standing
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum to two years of working with children and families
- Previous child welfare experience
- College degree
