Family Support Worker

Offer information and guidance to families visiting loved ones in prison, while organizing activities for children and ensuring refreshments are available. Create a welcoming environment for adults and children, handling challenging situations calmly and sensitively using experience with people facing difficulties. Work closely with colleagues and partner agencies to ensure safeguarding and child protection procedures are followed at all times. Support the continuous improvement of family support services through direct engagement. This role involves a 6-month probationary period and requires verification of identity, right to work in the UK, and satisfactory references covering a 3-year period.
