Job Summary
Provide trauma-informed, person-centred case management to families impacted by alcohol and other drug (AOD) challenges. Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop strengths-based support plans, and deliver individual and family sessions using culturally responsive approaches. Assist clients to access AOD treatment, mental health supports, housing, and financial assistance while collaborating with specialist providers to coordinate integrated care. Maintain accurate case notes and reports, contribute to program evaluation, and deliver outreach services as required. This maternity cover position involves working three days a week, preferably Wednesday to Friday, in Keswick.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant degree
- At least two years' experience preferably in AOD space
- Equivalent combination of qualifications and relevant industry experience
- Experience providing case management support to families facing multiple and complex challenges
- Demonstrated experience working with vulnerable individuals and families
- Ability to manage a diverse and complex caseload effectively
- Experience delivering specialised or complex interventions and support strategies
- Strong understanding of recovery-oriented and strengths-based practice approaches
- Commitment to person-centred support and achieving positive client outcomes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong administrative capability
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and exercise sound judgement
- Current Driver Licence
- Working with Children Check
- National Police Check
- Willingness to obtain a national police history check, qualifications, and referee checks
