Job Summary
Family Support Worker collaborates with biological parents/caregivers and children to teach skills toward a safe, thriving home environment; responsibilities include transporting children to supervised visits, conducting one-on-one skill teaching, and participating in ongoing trainings. Role includes 40+ hours of paid training within first 60 days, mileage reimbursement, and comprehensive benefits (medical/dental/vision, PTO, holidays, tuition reimbursement, EAP, and supplemental options). Requires own vehicle and 2+ years of related experience or a bachelor's in human services. Hiring in Hastings, Nebraska, with weekend pay differential when working with clients on Saturdays/Sundays.
Required Qualifications
- Own reliable personal vehicle for transporting 3-4 kids frequently
- Demonstrated 2+ years of experience helping facilitate change or a bachelor's in the human services field
- Timeliness and streamlined communication
- Car seats provided if required; GLFS covers paid drive time and mileage when working with clients

- No active criminal investigation
- Not on APS/CPS registry
- Driver's license with no more than 3 points
