Job Summary
Family Support Worker at Guardian Light Family Services (GLFS) provides one-on-one skill teaching to biological parents/caregivers and their children to foster a safe, thriving home environment. Responsibilities include transporting children to supervised visits, maintaining autonomy with a flexible schedule, and participating in regular meetings and ongoing training with supervisors and the agency. The role requires demonstrated experience in helping people facilitate change or a bachelor's degree in human services, and the successful candidate will have access to comprehensive benefits, training, and additional compensation on weekends. The position is available in all areas of Nebraska and pays $20-$22/hour with a $3/hour weekend differential and mileage reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Own reliable personal vehicle to travel/transport up to 3-4 kids frequently
- 2+ years of experience working with people to help facilitate change OR bachelor's in the human services field
