Job Summary
Family Support Specialist responsible for ongoing, in-home visits to support families with a strength-based approach, focusing on strengthening parent/child attachment, child development, and family functioning. Responsibilities include assisting parents with developmental screening (ASQ/ASQ-SE), developingFamily Goal Plans, providing information on child development and safety, tracking immunizations, offering resources and referrals, maintaining timely records, participating in Medicaid Admin tracking, and ensuring confidentiality and mandated reporting. Requires effective communication, ability to work with diverse families, bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, CPR/First Aid, and willingness to collaborate with community resources. Salary commensurate with education and experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Associates degree preferred in Social Services, Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Sociology or related field
