Job Summary
Make initial contact with new referrals on the Autism Home Visitation wait list and conduct home visits to provide support, assessments, service coordination, and resource guidance. Collaborate with Autism Home Visitation team members, develop and maintain a database of family recommendations, and create resource packets. Assist families with applying for Alabama Department of Mental Health Autism Services and deliver services through the DMH-Autism Services Program in home and community settings. Attend monthly Autism Clinic team meetings and assist with the Autism Clinic as needed. Maintain punctuality and regular attendance according to scheduled work hours.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in a social services field
- Experience working with autism spectrum disorder
- Valid Alabama driver's license
- Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate the needs of children and their families
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
