Family Support Specialist II (Social Service Exp.)

Job Summary
Conduct intake, assessments, and enroll residents in family support programs while visiting locations to gather information. Collaborate with families on Development Plans, assist in accessing social services, and advocate for service delivery for up to 100 individuals. Lead case management, service coordination, navigation, and family strengthening services designed to support economic mobility and student academic performance. Provide resources and knowledge for clients to access capital, including loans for financial goals like housing and consumer products, to build credit and support wealth growth. Offer consultation services in financial management and goal-setting, hosting in-person and virtual seminars for clients seeking financial literacy resources. Ensure privacy, track resident data in the USI "LEARN" system, and attend community and program-related meetings. Available for occasional nights and weekends with up to 25% travel, performing administrative tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or equivalent education/experience
- 3 years of nonprofit or human services experience
- 3+ years of experience as a case manager or in direct practice with low-income households
- Valid driver's license
