Family Support Specialist (FSS)

Family Support Specialist (FSS) will collaborate with the behavioral health home team to ensure well-coordinated, integrated care for youth and families. The role provides leadership and technical assistance in developing and implementing BHHO family support services, drawing on three or more years of lived parenting experience with a child/youth who faced emotional, developmental, behavioral, substance use, or mental health concerns. The incumbent can articulate their lived experiences and will navigate child-serving systems (behavioral health, child welfare, special education, juvenile justice) on behalf of that child. Key requirements include proof of vehicle insurance at $50K/$100K, a valid Maine driver’s license, being 18+, entry-level computer skills, and a high school diploma or equivalent.
