Job Summary
The Family Support Specialist will work with the behavioral health home team to ensure well-coordinated and integrated care is delivered to youth and families served, and will provide leadership and technical assistance in developing and implementing BHHO family support services. The role requires sharing experiences with families, co-workers, and community providers, and candidates must have three or more years of lived parenting experience with at least one child/youth, plus demonstrated navigation of child-serving systems on behalf of that child.
Required Qualifications
- Proof of vehicle insurance at $50K/$100K and a valid Maine drivers license
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Entry level computer skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Parent/Family Peer certification or provisional
