Job Summary

Create and implement evidence-based intervention strategies tailored to the unique needs of each youth. Provide consistent, therapeutic support in school, home, and community environments while maintaining appropriate boundaries. Partner with treatment teams, supervisors, educators, and families to ensure comprehensive care, including weekly case consultation with the assigned therapist. Accurately complete all required documentation in the Electronic Medical Record system. Support organizational goals by participating in Performance Quality Improvement initiatives. Drive to various locations to meet with youth, families, and stakeholders. Maintain professional conduct representing Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch positively.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Successful completion of fingerprint criminal background check and child abuse registry clearance as required by the State of Montana
  • Bachelor's degree in a human services field or equivalent combination of education and experience (6 years human services experience = bachelor's degree; each year of post-secondary human services education = 1 year experience)
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport with youth and families while maintaining appropriate therapeutic boundaries
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including active listening and conflict resolution
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a treatment team, including with the assigned school district
  • Proficiency in electronic documentation, typing at least 35 words per minute
  • Consistent attendance and reliability in performance of duties
  • Sound judgment, ethical decision-making, and the ability to remain composed in high-stress situations
  • Will be required to drive company or personal vehicle to other YBGR locations and/or families homes, schools, and communities to meet with employees, youth, families, or other stakeholders
  • Commitment to YBGR's values: Faith, Integrity, Relationship, and Stewardship
  • Willingness to obtain First Aid/CPR and Violence Intervention Prevention certifications
