Job Summary
Join our compassionate team as a Family Support Provider to support parents and families of children with mental illness. Responsibilities include assisting and coaching families, developing individualized service plans, providing crisis intervention, conducting assessments, and serving as a family advocate. Required qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, state-specific credential requirements, background checks, a valid driver's license, and certifications in First Aid and CPR. Ideal candidates should be empathetic, resourceful, and dedicated to empowering families.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must meet the state qualifications required to obtain the Family Support Provider credential
- Successful completion of background checks including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint checks
- Current driver's license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance
- First Aid and CPR certification within three (3) months of beginning employment
- Behavioral Management training completed within thirty (30) days of employment
