Job Summary
Family Support Partner (FSP) is part of the Community Based Behavioral Health and Prevention Services team, providing education, guidance, and support to families of children, adolescents, and young adults experiencing mental health challenges. After training, the FSP delivers family-to-family support through advocacy, coaching, education, and resource coordination, including connecting families to services and referrals and ensuring follow-up to help families access and sustain needed care.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) preferred; required within six months of hire
- Personal, lived experience as a primary caregiver of a youth, adolescent, or young adult who has/had mental health needs is required
- Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a safe driving record in accordance with RACS policies
