Family Support Embedded Therapist 11 Month Full Time

Family Support Therapist embedded across school-based partners (Normandy School’s Collaborative, TLC, and Epworth’s Drop-In Center) in an 11-month, full-time role. Responsibilities include providing compassionate counseling for adolescents and their families, conducting assessment, treatment, and resource development to navigate mental health and social service systems, delivering in-person and tele-behavioral counseling for youths with emotional/mental health challenges or suicidal crises, facilitating school support groups, and performing 22-28 hours per week of counseling, group counseling, case management, and school support services. Additional duties include data tracking, providing support materials and resource development, assisting with program development projects, participating in RTI processes, and contributing to signs of suicide presentations or trainings; some evening hours may be required. Required qualifications include LMSW or PLPC with experience with ages 12-25 and parents, strong engagement, organization, and communication skills, comfort with MS Word/Excel/Teams, and reliable transportation. Preferred qualifications include LCSW or LPC, crisis intervention experience, 2+ years counseling experience, cultural responsiveness, ability to navigate school environments, and Spanish-speaking abilities. Starting salary at $53,387+ per year with benefits.
