Job Summary
Complete program assessments, establish goals, and advocate for families by building resource networks and teaching self-advocacy skills. Deliver parent skills training alongside supportive individual and family counselling while ensuring safety through direct crisis intervention and follow-up care. Participate in weekly supervision, case reviews, and clinical rounds to maintain service quality, and report workplace hazards to your supervisor. Requires a degree in Human Sciences or Childcare, 2–4 years of experience with children and families, a valid Class 5 driver's license, and own transportation. Based in Lethbridge, this role supports the mission of Wood's Homes to build community mental health and well-being.
Required Qualifications
- Degree required in one of the Human Sciences, Childcare, or a related field
- Minimum two (2) to four (4) years' experience working with infants, children and/or adolescents, and families
- Must have a full, non-GDL class 5 driver's license and own transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Family and in-home support experience preferred
- Case Management experience is preferred
