Job Summary
Conduct intake and ongoing needs assessments for children and families involved in Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA) cases while providing case management, service planning, and referrals. Perform home visits and client meetings to support family stability and child safety, connecting families with internal programs, parenting education, behavioral health, and external resources. Maintain regular contact to monitor progress, document all activities per program requirements, and participate in case reviews and multidisciplinary team coordination. Coordinate with Tribal departments and county agencies to ensure compliance and culturally appropriate service delivery, ensuring access to services for Tribal children and families.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in social work, human services, or related field
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in case management, advocacy, or direct client services
- Must possess a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance
- Must pass background check and drug/alcohol screening
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of ICWA, child welfare systems, and available community resources preferred
- Experience working with Tribal communities and understanding of cultural and historical considerations
