Family Support and Engagement Specialist

Job Summary
Family Support and Engagement Specialists coordinate all services and interventions for children and their families referred to designated regional programs, providing intensive home visitation, coaching parents to recognize babies’ needs, educating on immunizations and well-child checks, connecting families to medical providers, and promoting healthy parent-child relationships. Responsibilities include conducting initial/follow-up screenings, documenting all case activities, arranging referrals, traveling within Layette, Suwannee, and Hamilton Counties, and ensuring timely case management and documentation. Requires strong communication, confidentiality, safety adherence, and ability to work across office, home, and community settings; must have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of relevant experience, plus a valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- Must have at a minimum, a high school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- at least one year of experience working with or providing services to children or families
- Valid driver’s license and appropriate auto liability insurance required
