Job Summary
The Family Specialist develops relationships with children while providing support, case management, and behavioral coaching, ensuring family involvement in treatment. This role includes working independently and with multidisciplinary teams to support youth with mental health disorders.
Required Qualifications
- AA or Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field
- Relevant experience working with youth in a mental health/social service setting
- 2 years’ experience working with youth with challenging behaviors
- Valid CA driver’s license
- Proof of automobile insurance
- Completion of CPR/First Aid certification within the first thirty (30) days of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred
- Knowledge of behavioral modification techniques
- Knowledge of crisis management skills
