Job Summary
Provide services to families through DCFS programs including Family Habilitation Services, Visitation and Housing; assist families in crisis to comply with court-ordered program participation; travel for supervised and unsupervised visitation; work directly with families in the home to teach homemaking, parenting, and anger-management skills; observe and redirect interactions during visits; prepare written reports and monthly progress documentation; assist in locating housing and other community supports for independent living; benefits include 17/HR pay, mileage reimbursement, flexible full/part-time schedules, and health/retirement options.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Associates degree or 2 years of child welfare experience
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a dependable automobile
- A valid driver's license
- Proof of auto insurance
- Must pass required background checks
