Job Summary
Family Services Manager responsible for daily management of the agency's CSBG-funded program, supervising staff, managing the department budget, and ensuring program compliance and performance. Develops and implements programs to meet the needs of families and individuals, builds partnerships with local agencies, prepares reports for funding sources, guides program improvements, and oversees data quality in client records and case management processes. Requires leadership, collaboration across departments, staff development, and engagement with community partners to provide housing, emergency assistance, education, and job placement resources. Knowledge of social work, case management, funding sources, and compliance; strong written and verbal communication; proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management software; valid NC Driver's License. Preferred advanced degree in social sciences or business administration and additional supervisory experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum: BS/BA degree in social sciences, (including but not limited to sociology, psychology) or business administration or a closely related field.
- Three (3) years' of progressively responsible work and experience in human services or social work that includes experience working with low-income families and individuals with one (1) year being in a successful supervisory capacity, good written and oral communication skills; able to attend periodic out of town workshops/conferences.
