Job Summary
Family Services Manager leads a team delivering enrollment and eligibility services for SR, VPK, CSC Scholarship, Head Start and Early Head Start programs. Responsibilities include evaluating and improving business processes, planning and implementing efficient systems, training staff on customer service and enrollment steps (including informed consent), maintaining relationships with outside agencies, ongoing communication with leadership, and keeping up-to-date with SR, VPK, and related guidance. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, five years in early learning with three years of leadership experience, and experience coordinating daily staff activities. Location-based duties at Palm Springs, FL facility with standard full-time hours.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from an accredited four-year college or university in field related to Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Health and Human Services or a related field
- Five years of increasingly responsible positions within the field of early learning or related field
- Three years of leadership experience in management including one year of direct supervisory experience
- Experience in coordinating daily activities of assigned staff
- Knowledge of SR, VPK, Florida Statues, the Division of Early Learning (DEL), Department of Education (DOE), Office of Head Start and Department of Children and Families (DCF) guidance
