Job Summary
Professional position on a team delivering a continuum of services to children and families. Responsibilities include inputting data, engaging parents to identify needs and develop goals, offering referrals and follow-up, informing families of program requirements, advocating for children and families, providing crisis intervention, planning and delivering activities on child development, nutrition, health, dental and mental health education; coordinating recruitment, registration, screenings, enrollment and selection; tracking children’s screening status; assisting with attendance reporting; conducting home visits; coordinating with agency resources to wrap around services; keeping client files current; facilitating parent meetings and staff trainings; staying informed on local/state/national requirements; and assisting with volunteer coordination and special tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in psychology, sociology, social work, early childhood, child development, human services, or related field
- If degree is in early childhood or child development, must have at least 9 college credits in family support, psychology, sociology, social work or family life
