Job Summary
Educate families on pre-planning funeral and cemetery arrangements while guiding at-need clients through service and cemetery selections. Conduct follow-up calls, manage sales pipelines, and build community relationships through outreach and participation in events. Collaborate with funeral directors, cemetery grounds, and leadership teams to ensure professional, empathetic service. Maintain accurate records and represent Carriage Services with integrity. This full-time role offers comprehensive training, leads from walk-ins and call-ins, and a supportive environment within the Funeral and Cemetery profession.
Required Qualifications
- Compassionate, patient and service-minded
- Coachable, goal-oriented, and motivated by both mission and results
- Strong communicator with the ability to guide families through sensitive decisions
- Organized and able to work independently
- Comfortable with a consultative sales environment
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- May require the possession (or ability to obtain) an insurance license as required by applicable law
