Job Summary
Collaborate with parents, school staff, and community partners to promote student achievement by driving active family involvement, two-way communication, and access to community resources. Create and submit Title I parenting documentation, organize volunteer opportunities, and maintain updated Parent Involvement Policy and Home-School Compact. Build partnerships with family-based agencies to strengthen family capacity, develop opportunities for parental engagement in reading, writing, mathematics, and technology activities, and support school improvement planning through effective communication and resource coordination.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in job related area or equivalent four year degree in Social Work, Human Resources or another related field
- At least two years experience in Family Support Services or a Parenting Education Program
- Valid Driver’s License
- Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance
- Ability to develop two-way communication between school, parents, and community
- Understanding of Title I parenting documentation requirements
- Ability to organize parenting resources and volunteer opportunities
- Experience with community partners and resource coordination
