Job Summary
The Family Service Advisor is accountable for serving client families by making at-need cemetery arrangements and selling pre-need arrangements. Responsibilities include generating leads through prospecting and referrals, building relationships with families by understanding their needs, providing exemplary personalized service, and collaborating with funeral directors and staff. The position requires high school diploma or equivalent, experience in customer service or sales, and a valid driver's license. The role necessitates passing a presentation certification and may require evening and weekend work.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of college or equivalent education and experience
- Current state/province issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Insurance license if required by state/province law
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years of customer service experience
- Sales industry experience
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to pass the Company's internal presentation certification within thirty days of hire
- Ability to work a number of evenings and/or weekends every month
- Ability to obtain and maintain an insurance license if required by state/province
