Family Resource & Youth Service Center Coordinator

Job Summary
Coordinate the Center’s activities with schools, agencies, children, youth and families; develop and maintain working relationships with community agencies, schools and families; attend advisory council meetings and report on Center activities; supervise support staff if applicable; conduct parent education and training; provide programs for children, youth and their families in identified areas such as alcohol/drugs, life skills, literacy, health-related issues, etc.; counseling/consultation as needed; inform community and schools of Center services; prepare required State FRYSC reports; coordinate case conferences with families, agencies and schools; coordinate existing community services with children, youth or family needs; act as an advocate for children, youth and families in seeing that services are provided; carry out other duties including home visits and meetings; direct and supervise Center grants and programs; comply with federal and state laws as well as local policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in human services, counseling, or a closely related field
- Four years of responsible professional human services, counseling or FRYSC experience
