Job Summary
As a Family Resource Specialist, you will provide community and home-based crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and comprehensive case management services. Key responsibilities include facilitating family-arranged placements for youth, offering psychoeducation services, and referring youth and families to necessary support services. You will participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours crisis intervention and maintain documentation in client databases. Strong interpersonal communication skills and a bachelor’s degree in social work or a related human service field are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in social work or another human service field, or equivalent combination of college coursework and professional experience required.
- Valid driver's license, insurance, and access to reliable vehicle required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Effective listening and trust-focused relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
